Joan Joyce! (Seven Angels Theatre) "In the role of the teenaged Joan Joyce, Bjork is sensational. She is precise, crisp and clear in every scene, covering the part's nostalgic journey with power, dash, range and believability. Vocally, she sings with rich, complex tones and phrasing, supported by a controlled Broadway-like sound that gives full voice to her many musical numbers." (Jim Ruocco, From the Desk of Jim R, Take 2) "Kiersten Bjork, who plays the teenage Joan Joyce, stands out among the performers. She radiates a warmth and enthusiasm... Ms. Bjork also has a wonderful singing voice." (Stuart Brown, Stu on Broadway) "Kiersten Bjork who plays teenage Joan Joyce and Baisden Knudsen have excellent voices and do a particularly good job in their roles." (Tim Leininger, One Man's Opinion) "Joan is beautifully portrayed as a child by Rylee Maxwell, as a teenager by Kiersten Bjork, and as an adult by Keely Baisden." (Bonnie Goldberg, CT Critics Circle) Jesus Christ Superstar (The Arts at Angeloria's) "The performances were another highlight, with several cast members delivering unforgettable interpretations. Kiersten Bjork’s Judas was captivating—gritty, emotionally torn, and vocally powerful." (Rafael Feliciano-Roman, Arts & Entertainment - Patch) "'She exuded everything I was looking for and she has not disappointed,' Holm said. 'I am thrilled with what she has done with her role. She is the very essence of our post-apocalyptic perspective. She is brilliant.'" (Lori Holm, Nancy Sasso Janis, CT Insider) |
